Production Process

We assign a cover designer for your book and give them the cover art form that you filled out. Once we receive the first cover mock, we send it to you. Please give ALL revision suggestions within 5 business days of receipt of the cover mock. We will then send your revision suggestions along with our own, if applicable, to the designer. When we get the next cover mock back there should be little-to-no revision suggestions, but if you have more this is the LAST opportunity as the next cover should be the final version.

After your manuscript has been proofread, it will be assigned ISBNs and turned in for formatting. We only provide basic formatting for our books to avoid any potential errors at retailers and on their specific devices (Kindle, Nook, Kobo eReaders, etc).

After your book has been formatted, you will receive an epub and pdf file. There should be NO errors or any changes at this point. However, this will be your LAST opportunity to fix ALL basic typos and formatting errors you may come across–single word and/or single phrases ONLY. Please include the full sentence before and after where the error occurs. There should be NO major errors at this point. If there are major errors, we will have to delay your pre-order and publication date. No exceptions. We need ALL errors reported to us within 30 days or less from the receipt of the formatted files–we will let you know a specific deadline if we need them before 30 days. If you send us a list of errors after that 30-day period or after the deadline we give you, we will not be able to make any changes so please ensure you go through your epub and/or pdf with a fine-tooth comb.

Once you receive the final formatted epub and pdf, you can send it out to your ARC readers for honest reviews and give them a deadline of at least two weeks from receipt of the ARC to leave a review, but they should leave their review no later than the first week of your book release.

When we have the final formatted files of your manuscript we will get your book up for pre-order or announce a live release date, and reveal your cover.

We will submit your book for paperback and hardback print through Ingram–the industry’s largest global book distribution network. After our books process for print, they are automatically made available globally to over 40,000 ebook retailers, online stores, chain stores, independent bookstores, libraries, schools, etc.
